Change Management Education

Australia is first in the world with the DIPLOMA OF ORGANISATIONAL CHANGE MANAGEMENT, which is an Australian Nationally Recognised Qualification.  And we're proud to say, we developed it. Graduates from the Diploma of Organisational Change Management are well equipped to greatly reduce the risks of change, while standing out in the crowd for change management roles and contracts.

Our training will be your competitive advantage.

Talk to us if you're progressing your career in Change Management.  We offer two options to becoming a recognised change management professional.  Read how you can become accredited in the National Competency Standards in Organisational Change Management in just ten short weeks, confidently applying your skills to a workplace or community change that will achieve the benefits of the changeYou can complete a short intensive, professional level course and become an accredited practitioner and / or submit your work through the Diploma assessment process and become qualified.  While the quality and content of the course remains the same, the choice of award is yours to make.  We will support you in either.

Change Management Training MethodsThere is a difference between self accredited training and nationally accredited training.  Self accredited training does not lead to a career pathway through the formal educational system (e.g. Vocational Education and University). Nationally Accredited Training does.  Why spend more on courses that are self accredited and limited when you could attain a competency-based Diploma of OCM qualification that is recognised in any university system in the world, because it is an Australian Nationally Accredited Training program. See FAQs for further information on the term 'accredited'.

Diploma Graduates enjoy higher standing with employers because they hold a recognised qualification from a quality guaranteed learning institution.  This is what Dr. Paul Davidson, Assoc Prof of Management, QUT School of Business, Brisbane has to say about the Diploma of Organisational Change Management:

"The Diploma of Organisational Change Management fills a gap in the education of managers generally. The curriculum is based on good theory and research, but its main value is that it is practical and applied in orientation, offering clear guidance for implementation and a sustainable system that will improve any organisation’s resiliency and change capability. It can be seen as a valuable and credible supplementary qualification to an MBA/BBus or as a standalone preparation for a beginner or an experienced change manager. This course could signal the consolidation of a new specialty within management, addressing as it does the increasingly more widely-accepted core competencies for the management of change in organisations. It merits serious attention by the specialist change manager and by the general manager responsible for change being well managed in the organisation. And which organisation is not changing?"

The Diploma OCM is the beginning of a formal career pathway for Change Managers and constitutes the cornerstone of all other formal change management training, arising from these new Australian National Competency Standards  The Diploma was developed from our RIMER ...Managing Successful Change Professional Edition Manual, and applies Project Management competencies.  Those with either business management or project management skills can easily achieve change and be certain of a consistent, reduced risk result.

Participants can receive Change Management Training in several ways to suit their needs. Please select from the following training options:

  • Organisations can learn through a regular Knowledge Management forum, learning and applying the RIMER Method, and sharing experiences and solutions with other organisations at the Corporate Resilience RoundTable.
